Thankful 16-20

Day 16- I am thankful for southwest Nebraska. I love the small town Nebraska life! If you need help there is always someone there and always a smile and wave. A great place to raise children and a great place to live!

Day 17- I am thankful for electronics. Isn't it amazing how tv, computers, internet, and cell phones have become a part of our lives. On the days I forget my cell phone, I feel helpless, but on the days I am in the middle of nowhere and need help it sure comes in handy! With the internet I can connect to all my friends I wouldn't be able too.

Day 18- I am thankful for jobs for my husband and I. I am thankful we both have good jobs to pay the bills and work with people we like, it helps make life better! Both jobs have their moments of frustration, but every job would!

Day 19- I am thankful that deer hunting is DONE, over with, FINISHED! Don't take me totally serious, I love a good hunt, but having to fix the fence after people drive through it and onto land they are not suppose to be on is irritating! Putting in two new corners and lots of posts, I hope whoever it was got a nice deer and it tore their pickup up in the mean time! : ) I am thankful for the extra meat for the freezer and the fun of hunting.

Day 20- Thankful for patience. I can't say that I have the most of it some days, but I am so thankful for the people that do. I helped my dad work with colts today and the patience he had was so amazing. Can you imagine where you would be without it?

Thankful 11-15

Day 11- Today I am thankful for my in-laws. I am very lucky to have gotten a wonderful group of people. They welcomed me into their lives 10 years ago and I am blessed to have them. I don't know what I would do without all of them. I of course do not have pictures of all of them, but here is a few!

Day 12- I am thankful for my health. Even though it is not the best, it keeps me going strong and knowing I can't give up. It has made Troy and I a stronger couple and it helps you to recognize what is important in your life. It helps to remind me to count my blessings!
Day 13- I am thankful for my friends! The ones I talk to every week, my facebook friends, and the ones who I only talk to every couple of years, I am thankful for you all. You listen to me as I vent or answer my questions. You are there for me when I need it and I truly appreciate it.It is amazing how you can go a long time without talking to a friend and still be able to visit.

Day 14- I am thankful for the teachers, aides, lunch staff, school bus drivers, and everyone else that works at Wauneta-Palisade Schools! They are amazing people! They are helping me with my children to grow into wonderful people and I appreciate all they do. I can't say thank you enough!
Day 15- I am thankful for the ladies who help with the Lord's Joyful Singers! They are helping to educate my children about God and that is one of the most important things they can learn. Thank you for volunteering your time Dawn Applegarth Doetker, Diana Ham, Donna Applegarth, Sara Todd Bardsley, and everyone else who donates time or snacks to the kiddos!

Thankful November Day 1-5

With November comes Thanksgiving, which makes us think of what are we thankful for, I know for me my list is HUGE.  I am going to share with all of you my thankful list for November, but really should have a thankful post everyday of the year.

1. Thankful for my wonderful husband of 10 years. I am so proud to be his wife and that he is my best friend! I am one lucky woman!
 2. Thankful for my son Colby Jay Michael Hoskovec. My 8 year old was my first born and loves to make people laugh. He tries hard at everything he does and I can already tell he will be a hard worker. I am proud of him everyday and I can't wait to see the man he grows up to be, but not to fast!

Day 3- I'm thankful for my baby girl Kalli Patricia Hoskovec. My little girl has grown so much, changed, and matured into a smart little Kindergartener. She loves art and is a little bit shy in trying new things, but when she does her smile and eye can melt your heart. She is not only beautiful but incredible.

Day 4- I am thankful for my Mother, Joan Maddux. She is a woman who can deal with anything and if you need anything she has it or can get it for you. She is a hardworking and tough woman, who enjoys having an adventure. She loves her children and grandchildren and teaches them all so much.

Day 5 I am thankful for my brother Mike Maddux. He is an amazing man and someone I look up too. I am thankful I get to see him almost daily and proud of the things he has overcome. He is intelligent and I feel could do anything not only in the cattle and farming business, but anything he put his mind too. I am thankful my children get to grow up learning from him.
